17 October, 2020
Dear President Trump
Warm greetings to you and your family.
I would like to again thank you for all that you are doing for America, the people of the world, and for God. Without your ‘intervention’, your investment of heart, your will and action, our world would be in a very sorry state, far worse than it currently is.
Taking into account all your great accomplishments, I still have concerns that those people who are actively working to undermine America; the seditious actions of well known politicians, media outlets and personalities, business people/corporations, judges, and those in law enforcement, who have been derelict and criminal in their duty, aiding and abetting corruption, violence, even riots, and undermining society, have not been brought to justice.
They are a ‘seditious counter-culture’, opposed to God’s Will, working towards another dystopian Orwellian regime, even surpassing the excesses of Communism.
I recognise that you have limitations placed on you by the Democrats who currently hold the majority in the House of Representatives, certain governors and mayors who are in office, and also key people working in law enforcement and the intelligence agencies.
I do believe that you want to address these issues. My view is that you need to immediately pursue with extreme prejudice these traitors and criminals posing as ‘American citizens’, and bring them all to justice, even if you have to set up a ‘special task force’, hand picked by you to get the job done.
It is the American people as a whole who are now carrying the burden of all these crimes against God and humanity; morally, spiritually and economically. It is a millstone around all our necks. America and the world will have to pay indemnity/restitution for these
crimes which are opposing God’s Will. In fact the world already is, hence all the ongoing suffering of humanity, now being highlighted by the ‘China Virus’, a bio-weapon that was dropped on the world by a ‘terrorist nation’.
Remember, America is the central Christian nation that God is wanting to accomplish His Will through. So goes America, so goes the world, and all ‘roads’ do lead to America, ideologically, economically, and politically.
God wants ‘Houston’ to regain control of their ‘space ship’. God did not raise up America for just America, but to be God’s ‘advance vehicle’, ‘pioneer vessel’ to establish God’s Sovereignty on earth. That is not some simple and inconsequential goal. Captain Trump needs to keep ‘Starship America’ on course.
We are seeing innocent people being sent to jail, others murdered in the guise of a robbery or suicide for example, evidence destroyed and tampered with, elections being defrauded and interfered with. These are not minor things, some may even carry the death penalty. Furthermore, conspiring to commit a crime is a crime.
The ongoing treason taking place in ‘broad daylight’, is largely being ignored. This is what the fallen Archangel Lucifer did in the Garden, openly opposing God and God’s Commandment to His children. Once again, it is Satan working to oppose God’s Will and undermine America and God’s people.
America has however become her own worst enemy, because she has allowed this evil to prosper. Her apathy has become a ‘bad habit’ in the name of ‘inclusion’, which means compromise and ‘sympathy for the devil’. Americans see these things going on, yet for the most part do nothing to stop it.
We should not be playing defence, we should be playing offense, and routing America’s enemies, making telling inroads into ‘Satan’s Heartland’.
Respectfully, you need to go on the offensive and round up these criminal elements. America, including Christians, must now also separate from Satan on many levels.
You have shown a lot of courage on many fronts; Prison law reform, Middle East Peace Initiatives, working for North and South Korean re-unification, and on the economic front, but now you need to move on the ‘justice and righteousness front’. You need to call out your fellow Americans. Your domestic enemies are frenetically working against you, and that is also why this virus could ‘strike America’, cause the economy to stall, and prep America for a totalitarian takeover.
We need the ‘slingshot to the forehead’ right about now. That is why Jesus said, “Seek first God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness’. America has not been doing that, she has been seeking mammon first and her own creature comforts.
The ‘business world rules’ as tough as they are, are not as tough as those in the political arena. It’s a whole different ball game with very different rules. There are NONE, and we need to adapt quickly. Inaction is putting people’s lives and the nation at risk. Nation meaning a ‘house united’, not divided.
God rebuked the Israelites after returning to Jerusalem from Babylon because they had neglected to build God’s House (the Temple), and as a result, all that they attempted, produced no ‘fruit’, no joy, even the money they made disappeared. The economy did not take hold because they weren’t building God’s House first, which means they weren’t honouring and loving God, but satisfying there own wants and desires before God’s. We all need to honour God, His Word, and therefore His commandments and statutes, not our own selfish wants and desires.
Haggai 1:3 “Then the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, 4 “Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your panelled houses, while this house lies in ruins? 5 Now therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: Consider how you have fared. 6 You have sown much, and harvested little; you eat, but you never have enough; you drink, but you never have your fill; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who earns wages earns wages to put them into a bag with holes.
7 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: Consider how you have fared. 8 Go up to the hills and bring wood and build the house, that I may take pleasure in it and that I may appear in my glory, says the Lord. 9 You have looked for much, and lo, it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why? says the Lord of hosts. Because of my house that lies in ruins, while you busy yourselves each with his own house. 10 Therefore the heavens above you have withheld the dew, and the earth has withheld its produce”.
We must now stop paying lip service to God, and Mr President, for you to step up as David stepped up to take on Goliath, not in Donald Trump’s name, but in God’s name as David did.
1 Sam 17:45 “David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. 47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”
President Trump, with a renewed heart and purpose, you and the American people supported and guided by God, can re-build America, God’s House, and the world will follow. Yes, take care of the economy, but remember, ‘for what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but forfeits his soul’ and ‘man does not live by bread alone…’
You must not neglect and forget God our Father in Heaven who has been sustaining and supporting you and working to liberate His children. This is key to your success and God’s success. God can not do it without you, that is without His children working with and supporting Him, otherwise there would have been no Fall. That is a fact. Can you as President do it by yourself, even though you are investing so much? Well, God Himself has been trying since time immemorial.
Isaiah 46:11 “I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it”.
God is also seeking first His Kingdom, and we must support Him in achieving that.
Why has it taken so long if God is all knowing and all powerful? Man keeps ‘dropping the ball’, and therefore not accomplishing his portion of responsibility. Man has prolonged the Providence of Salvation by continually failing to fulfil his responsibility since Adam and Eve disobeyed the Commandment, and subsequently fallen man has been continually breaking God’s commandments and statutes throughout history. God wants to end this.
That is why God called you, because of your unique character and the ‘qualifications’ you possess. Think about it. God called Abraham who was the son of an idol maker, and also the Persian King Cyrus. God looks into our heart, not our external situation.
We are to love God, and love our neighbour!
That is why life loses its taste, and ‘salt its saltiness’, because we lose the love of God, the presence of God in our lives. That is why we must be re-born daily, putting the ‘old man’ to death. Col 3:5-11.
Christians are responsible to support and attend you Mr President as the prophets guided King Saul and David. Have they been taking responsibility to do that? We are not living in parallel universes. We must become one, as God cried out for all through the ages, to become one with Him, and with each other, “Love God, love your neighbour”:
Psalms 133 “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity”!
Who is loving who? God wants ‘unity of heart’ to move His Providence forward, as with Jacob and Esau. Jacob endured twenty one years of drudgery and betrayal in order to establish a clan, and also wealth that he could then offer to his older brother, who for twenty one years had nursed the desire to kill his younger brother. Jacob turned that around by loving and serving Esau, and then weeping, Jacob and Esau embraced. That is ‘unity of heart’. On that foundation of unity, God could then begin to prepare in earnest His Dispensation to send Jesus the Messiah.
‘Unity of heart’ is the key to allow God to work on our behalf. (Don’t forget President Putin, as Jacob remembered and cherished his older brother Esau).
Christians especially must accomplish all these things. We have bought into the so called ‘American Dream’, but is that ‘God’s Dream’? Culturally, morally, spiritually, are Christians even anywhere close to what God wants us to be and to do? Are we God’s enemy or ally? Did we do what Jesus asked us to do beyond just believing in him as though that is a panacea for all our ills when clearly it isn’t, and has never been all throughout Christian history.
Christians have done some truly evil things. It’s not just sins of commission that are offensive to God, but sins of omission are equally as bad, if not worse. It’s the things we didn’t do that we will also be judged for. God will not be mocked nor fooled. We may be able to deceive ourselves, but God won’t be as He looks into our hearts. We will be judged according to how much we have embodied the Word, practised it, and what Jesus also asked us to practise. Jesus is the ‘gold standard’, and we will be judged according to that standard.
Jn 12:47 “If any one hears my sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 He who rejects me and does not receive my sayings has a judge; the word that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day”.
Christians have in fact become the enemy of God, because we have not been keeping God’s Word, the ‘weightier matters’ of Jesus’ teachings. That is why Jesus said, “Depart from me you evildoers, I never knew you”, because those individuals, although spouting Jesus’ name and even healing people, neglected to take care of those things closest to Jesus’ heart; mercy, justice, righteousness, unconditional love, caring for the least of these, loving our enemy, and at the same time, not bringing ‘false gods’ and practices into the Temple, the House of God. Lk 12:42-48
How does America look right now as God’s House, God’s Temple? Are there any ‘false gods’ floating around? Remember, we may not have brought those false gods in, but what did we do to prevent it? Therefore, did we act as God’s faithful stewards to take care of His House in His absence. Luke 12:42-48
We may call ourselves Christians, but how does Jesus view us, as he had already witnessed the arrogance and stiff-necked nature of the Jewish leaders and people, the so called ‘chosen people’. Just because we believe in someone does not make us righteous and exonerate us from our responsibility to ‘be perfect as our Heavenly Father is’, and ‘Seek first God’s Kingdom’. We still have ‘to work out our own salvation in fear and trembling’, and live for the sake of others.
As John the Baptist said to the Jewish people:
Lk 3:7 “He said therefore to the multitudes that came out to be baptized by him, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bear fruits that befit repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father’; for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children to Abraham. 9 Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees; every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”
Similarly this applies to Christians. We can’t be a Christian if we are not following the example Jesus set, ‘as the servant is not greater than his master’.
If we think our spiritual life is about ‘signs, wonders and miracles’, we are sadly mistaken, and we will be the ones rejected by Jesus, for ‘an evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign’. How are those miracles saving America right now and providing justice to millions of people. Our own ‘piety’ or so called ‘spirituality’ has betrayed our fellow man. Did we listen to the parables Jesus spoke, e.g. the ‘Parable of the Talents’. Those parables are for and about us. They are not just nice stories to make us feel good, but to guide us in our own life of faith.
God will spit us out for being so tepid and feeble-minded. Why else would Jesus say:
Mt 7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few”.
This refers to ‘after’ we become a Christian, not before.
A Bluefin tuna lays millions of eggs, but only a handful survive and make it to adulthood. ‘Only two out of every thirty million fertilized eggs will reach adulthood’.
‘Many are called but few are chosen’. All the Northern tribes of Israel were massacred by the Assyrians, and the Southern tribes although they fared better still lost many lives to the Babylonians, and so it continued with the sacking of Jerusalem (70 AD) by the Romans through to the modern era.
Many Christians have lived and died and not truly understood what their real purpose of creation is, and what their responsibilities are as God’s children. God gave all of us a portion of responsibility to fulfil, hence the Commandment He gave to Adam and Eve. As they disobeyed God, instead of enjoying His Sabbath, God has had to work all throughout human history to save His fallen children so that we can become His true sons and daughters. In every age He gave us new truth and responsibilities to fulfil as did Jesus, the son.
Jesus said, “I give you a new commandment, to love one another as I have loved you”. How did Jesus love his disciples, not by words, but by action, by serving them, physically washing their feet. He had ‘skin touch’ with his disciples, as a mother her baby and her children, and a Father as well. Jesus the Father had ‘skin touch’ with his children as a loving parent.
From the point of view of heart, the disciples believed in Jesus as we do, but still, shortly after, they betrayed him, as we have done, after becoming Christians. Heb 10:26-31.
That is why Christians have to lead a life of repentance, because everyday, we also betray God and Jesus, when we do not listen to them and obey them.
God’s headache is not with those that don’t believe, but with those who think they believe, until push comes to shove. We keep ourselves ‘entertained’ under the ‘big top’ with signs, wonders and miracles, a veritable ‘light show’. “Praise the Lord!” we say. What is that? We are just making people twice the child of hell that we are, and counting it as something good because someone else joins us in a limited understanding of God’s heart and purpose for man.
We know this is true by what is happening to America, and that this is a country that did not practise what God and Jesus wanted us to practise. We have not created the ‘environmental and cultural kingdom’, we have created a melee of very individualistic people, who happen to believe in God, and a man named Jesus. Where is the fruit of those relationships translating into a ‘Substantial Kingdom and God’s House’? “Seek first God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness”. Again refer to Haggai 1:3-10.
God’s House also being the nation of God’s desire, God’s Canaan, God’s Garden of Eden that He laboured for originally to create. God wants his Eden back, His Sovereignty, His Kingship, and His Citizenry. A nation being a unified people, citizens, one in heart with God and each other. The 1st and 2nd Great Commandments coming together. Please note Jesus’ prayer Jn 17:20-23.
Is that what we have been doing? Establishing unity of heart.
No we have not, so now we too are facing our own ‘Assyrian and Babylonian moment’. Who do we think the ‘Cultural Marxists’, and ‘the Atheistic Moral Relativists’ of today are, who the Left hand/wing thief represents? They are the Assyrians and the King Nebuchadnezzar/George Soros’ of today. Read what King Neb did to the Jews. It makes for horrifying reading as is what is now happening to America and the people who are meant to build and preserve God’s House. When we don’t, as for the Israelites, terrible things happen to the people. It is the ‘law of cause and effect’ taking place. Deut 28.
Now we can understand why we need to repent. If we don’t, we will remain as Satan’s children by virtue of a ‘deficit of heart and connection’ to God. If we love Jesus then we should do what he says, as it was so for Adam and Eve. You can’t say you love someone, and then ignore and disobey them. The ‘Law of Resemblance’ requires the children to emulate the parent.
Without the Second Commandment being realised, there is no first Commandment. That is why John said:
1 John 4:7 “Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God; for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 ‘No man has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us’.
13 By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his own Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son as the Saviour of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
17 In this is love perfected with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love. 19 We love, because he first loved us. 20 If any one says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should love his brother also”.
What is the point if we do not love the brethren and even our enemies. Are we trying to convert people by ‘magic’ or by love. If it is love, then we must put ‘skin’ in the game, our own ‘heart skin’. Become the servant who ‘washes his disciples’ feet’, meaning, love and serve people.
What we do on the micro level, effects the macro level, as a relatively small rudder on an ocean liner dictates its course.
Jesus’ ‘world’ operates based on unconditional love, not ‘miracles’. Of the ten lepers Jesus healed, only one thanked him, and he was a Samaritan.
Jesus’ mission was not to perform miracles, but educate people about unconditional love and becoming one with God, hence Mt 5:48. Christians today as throughout the ages have missed the real meaning of Christ’s teachings.
It wasn’t to torture people and burn them at the stake because someone decided someone else was a heretic, or genocide thousands of people because their understanding of God and Christ was different from theirs.
Now today we are obsessed with ‘signs, wonders and miracles’, and being saved, but still we are not ‘Seeking first God’s Kingdom’ and loving the brethren. Is that not like the lepers who were healed/saved, but then did not acknowledge Jesus nor God. Still Christians today judge others whose faith is different from theirs, claiming they will go to hell because they have some miniscule doctrinal difference, when Peter said love covers a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:7 “The end of all things is at hand; therefore keep sane and sober for your prayers. 8 Above all hold unfailing your love for one another, ‘since love covers a multitude of sins’.
What sort of God do Christians think we are worshipping, and who would think such a ridiculous thing when we as sinners ourselves have been forgiven? How small are our hearts?
We have not understood the Second Commandment as John spoke of. We like to say we love God and Jesus, but are we loving the ‘least of these’ and our enemy? Are we loving the brethren?
Does this not all sound like the ‘Parable of the Unrighteous Servant’, Mt 18:21-35, or the arrogant Pharisee in the Temple, Lk 18:9-14, ‘Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector’.
If we are going to be judged, it will be by what we actually do, not so much what we think we believe, or say, as in the Parable of the Two Sons’. Mt 21:28-32
Our purpose of creation is to resemble our Creator by our ability to love others, not by our intellect, not by our words, nor even our faith as Paul explains:
I Cor 13 “…and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing”.
Don’t make God distant from you, we all need skin touch with God. The best way for that to happen is to love and serve others.
Jn 13:14 “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that ‘you should do’ as I have done for you. 16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him”.
Then we will be acting on behalf of God and God will naturally be with us. ‘Like attracts like’.
The ‘truth will set you free’, not miracles, healings and the like. The truth is what we embody and live. We therefore need to be honest about our own reality and who I am as a person, and not be hiding behind Jesus, and that Jesus will take care of me and all my sins. No he won’t.
Jesus provides the ‘way, the truth, the life and the love’ for us to follow and emulate him, then our sins can be expiated. Just to believe in someone without doing anything is ludicrous, it is ‘spiritual theft’.
We will be judged for not taking responsibility as Adam and Eve were. Will your boss at work after training you to do your job, just keep forgiving you should you not do it? No he won’t, as much as the man who buried his ‘talent’ had it taken from him and given to the man who was actually doing something with his.
That is why Jesus said ‘pick up your cross and follow me’. He didn’t say he was going to ‘pick up our cross and follow us’.
Christians need to wake up and understand that we are only as good as our last repentance, otherwise Hebrews 10:26-32 kicks in. That is what we have not understood.
This is like a man with a credit card who mistakenly believes he has limitless credit, can buy anything he wants and he doesn’t have to pay it back. Similarly, our spiritual lives operate in a similar manner. We are responsible for everything we do. If we genuinely repent and turn our lives around, now we are paying off the credit card by not sinning (buying or spending money), just as we buy a home, put down a deposit, and over 30 + years pay off the mortgage. We get to live in the house as long as we don’t incur greater debt and we keep paying our mortgage. We have to ‘budget’, making good decisions as so with our spiritual lives. We have to be spiritually responsible for our lives. Mt 18:18.
We must understand this point or face dire consequences. Being a Christian is not a free pass. We are in fact telling God that I will take responsibility for my life, and if I do err, I will repent and rectify my situation. Going to church and tithing is meaningless if you are not ‘tithing’ into your own spiritual life. At worst, we may just be enabling some pastor to continue teaching platitudes whilst we ‘bribe’ him not to teach the real truth, which is about ‘mans portion of responsibility’.
This is as corrupt as any crime syndicate or the House of Representatives. We are all lying to one another and ourselves, maintaining the ‘dystopian system’ that Satan has set up. Satan has continually manipulated through man that which God has established, so we are still all part of this fallen world, but have deluded ourselves to think we are different because we are saved, (the chosen people) but in reality we aren’t saved because we are not keeping God’s Word and doing the things that make for the Kingdom of Heaven.
That is why God sent President Trump as a ‘saviour’, that being someone ‘anointed’ by God, to sort out America at this time, just as he called Abraham, the ‘son of an idol maker’ or Cyrus.
Being born again is just that, being re-born. Does a person’s life begin and end at birth. No, birth is just the beginning as it is with re-birth. We have a whole journey to walk from the time we are born and also re-born. It’s not ‘game, set and match’ on the day we accept Christ, because in two years time we may no longer be a Christian, or twenty years time. We have to be re-born and growing and maturing in heart and mind everyday. Phil 2:12.
That is the significance of the New Testament epistles. They are guiding new and old converts to essentially maintain and develop their life of faith, because ‘falling away’, was then as it is now a real thing. ‘Parable of the Sower’.
God’s Providence has been moved forward by all sorts of people including criminals and prostitutes, for example Rahab. James 2:25. Paul was also a ‘criminal’ persecuting and killing Christians who the early Christians feared.
We were also ‘criminals’ at one time and perhaps still are, so why are certain Christians judging President Trump and each other when anyone who says ‘he has not sinned is a liar’. Christians are just eating their own by way of judging one another. Jesus said, ‘by the measure you judge you will be judged’ and ‘Remove the log from your own eye…’
We have allowed America to become a basket case because we did not take responsibility to steward the nation God gave us. If we do not fix the fence, the roof, close the gate, whose fault is it when the livestock escape, the rain comes into the house, and our young children wander onto the street.
God gave us a nation to steward, but we let it go to ‘hell’, as we ran around trying to convert everyone. To what?
We have not listened to Jesus, and just got caught up in making new converts. Did we take good care of them and educate them so as to know God’s heart?
Mt 23:15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you traverse sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves”.
Christians have failed to listen to Jesus and have unwittingly become the enemy of God. Remember what Jesus said to the Pharisees:
Mt 23:25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you cleanse the outside of the cup and of the plate, but inside they are full of extortion and rapacity. 26 You blind Pharisee! first cleanse the inside of the cup and of the plate, that the outside also may be clean”.
Make our heart right with God first, so that what we do will reflect God’s Will and purpose:
Lk 11:37 “While he was speaking, a Pharisee invited him to dine with him; so he went in and took his place at the table. 38 The Pharisee was amazed to see that he did not first wash before dinner. 39 Then the Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness. 40 You fools! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also? 41 So give for alms those things that are within; and see, everything will be clean for you”.
41 So give for alms those things that are within – Show God’s love with a giving heart.
If we are not doing what our Heavenly Father asked us to do, then we are His enemy. It’s as simple as that.
The only sign we will get is the sign of Jonah, which means repent. Many Christians have understood this verse to solely mean Jesus being in the tomb three days as Jonah was in the belly of the ‘big fish’. However, what happened after Jonah was ‘vomited’ up on to dry land? He exhorted the Ninevites to repent, and they did, including the King in sackcloth and ashes and God stayed His hand of judgment.
What are we going to do, we had the big ‘Return’ at the Washington Mall? So what has changed or what is going to change. I didn’t watch the whole thing but did we see tears of repentance as in Nineveh that would stay God’s hand. I don’t know, but if it just became another spectacle under the ‘big top’, it won’t have the power to change anything.
We have to feel desperate knowing that our nation and world’s existence is at stake, and for those Christians who think they will be saved by the ‘rapture’, think again.
A. We don’t know when that may happen, and B. It isn’t a ‘physical rapture’ as many expect. God has laws and principles He works through, and people defying gravity is not one of them.
Rapture here means a rapture of our ‘heart and mind’. Just as we were previously ‘raptured’ by God’s love and grace so that our behaviour and view of life changed, similarly at the Second Coming, our hearts and minds once again will be elevated or raptured to a new level of understanding and truth. As Jesus said regarding this new truth:
Jn 16:12 “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”
Jn 16:25 “I have said this to you in figures; the hour is coming when I shall no longer speak to you in figures but tell you plainly of the Father”.
That’s the new truth which ‘raptures’ us to an elevated understanding of God’ Will, and Purpose of Creation.
There is no escape hatch from this physical world save death itself.
Eccles 1:4 “A generation goes, and a generation comes, but the earth remains for ever”.
So this world does not get destroyed in some cataclysmic apocalyptic event and replaced by another one. The bible has many parables, metaphors and symbols in it, especially in the Book of Revelation, so many of those more dramatic verses have a hidden meaning.
For example ‘fire’ often represents God’s word and truth.
Malachi, prophesying of Jesus to come, spoke of a day burning with the fire of judgment. Mal 4:1-3. Jesus came into the world to cast this judgment, as he said, “For judgment I came into this world.” Jn 9:39. Jesus also said, “I came to cast fire upon the earth.” Lk 12:49.
“Fire” here represents the means of the judgment for which Jesus came into the world. Nevertheless, there is no record that in his time Jesus judged the world with literal fire. The verses referring to fire must be symbolic. It is written, “Is not my word like fire, says the Lord?” Jer 23:29 Therefore, judgment by fire represents judgment by the Word of God.
What is the reason that Jesus judges by the Word? Human beings are created through the Word. God’s ideal of creation was that the first human ancestors fulfil the purpose of the Word by incarnating the Word. Yet they did not keep the Word of God and fell; thus, they failed to fulfil the purpose of the Word.
Since then, God has tried to fulfil the purpose of the Word by recreating fallen human beings through the Word. This is the providence of restoration based on truth, the Word as revealed in the Scriptures. It is written, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.” Jesus completely realized the Word.
He will come again as the standard of the judgment by the Word and judge the extent to which humanity has fulfilled the purpose of the Word. Judgment in this context contributes to the attainment of the goal of restoration, which is the realization of the purpose of the Word. Hence, in the course of the providence, the Word must be set up as the standard through which judgment can be carried out.
Jesus lamented, “I came to cast fire upon the earth; and would that it were already kindled!” As the incarnation of the Word, he was grieved that the people of Israel did not receive the life-giving words which he proclaimed.
We too must become the embodiment of the Word, as we will face judgment according to God’s Word. That is the ‘fire’ we will experience, our consciences burning us up if we fall short of that standard of heart.
For Christians it will be worse judgment, because we were given the truth like the ‘talent’, but what did we do with it. Did we bury it, ignore it and not take responsibility to invest God’s grace to re-build my temple as God’s Spirit dwells inside me?
Lk 12:46 “The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will punish him, and put him with the unfaithful. 47 And that servant who knew his master’s will, but did not make ready or act according to his will, shall receive a severe beating. 48 But he who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, shall receive a light beating. Every one to whom much is given, of him will much be required; and of him to whom men commit much they will demand the more”.
We should have already worked this out as part of remaining vigilant and keeping our wicks trimmed and our lamps full of oil. It is our responsibility to understand God’s Word, and not just accept a simplistic superficial interpretation of the Bible that does not emphasise man’s portion of responsibility:
God’s Portion of Responsibility + Man’s Portion of Responsibility = The Accomplishment of God’s Will.
God’s Portion of Responsibility + Adam and Eve keeping the Commandment = The Accomplishment of God’s Will – ‘The Kingdom of Heaven on Earth as it is in Heaven’.
That is why we must repent, because we did not understand God’s Will, God’s Purpose of Creation, and God’s Heart to establish His Kingdom, as Jesus told us to “Seek FIRST God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness”.
Did we do that? No, because we did not truly understand what we were meant to do, so we opted for a simplistic understanding, just ‘believe in Jesus and be saved’.
Does believing in your maths teacher make you good at maths? Jesus said to do what he does, which includes picking up our cross and following his example.
‘He who seeks to gain his life will lose it, but he who is willing to lose his life for my sake will gain it’.
How much heart and love we invest in people and raise them up to become God’s true sons and daughters determines our standing in the Afterlife. This naturally includes loving and attending one another.
We can’t just believe in Jesus to be with Jesus, we have to resemble him, keep his commandments, and do as he said, ‘even greater works than these will he do’.
Jn 14:12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son; 14 if you ask anything in my name, I will do it”.
and
Jn 14:21 “He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 He who does not love me does not keep my words; and the word which you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me”.
This makes everything crystal clear. Now we are without excuse.
To re-iterate from John’s first epistle:
1 Jn 4:19 “We love, because he first loved us. 20 If any one says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should love his brother also”.
God as our Heavenly Parent of love, created us in order to experience the give and take of love with His beloved children, responding and returning love to God, and therefore becoming one with God. Mt 5:48.
Mr President, happily I can say that you are a man of selfless action, motivated by heart towards your fellow man. You therefore have been embodying Jesus’ words, and you have been emulating him. I believe this bible verse refers to you:
Mt 23:31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’”
Your actions as President, have borne this out.
As the President, your prayers, and Melania’s are very meaningful to God. They are life changing.
We pray for your safety, long life, and for your wise and strong leadership to continue.
May God continue to guide and bless you.
Most sincerely
Stephen Downward
