As Blessed Couples, we have been giving the Blessing to our family members, friends and neighbors since 1997.
At that time, Stacey and I were living in Capitol Hill, Washington DC. We were extensively engaged in promoting the 3.6 million Couples Blessing, with the main ceremony held at RFK Stadium in Washington DC. We were sharing the holy wine with couples in our neighborhood.
We were further encouraged to give a Blessing Kit to these couples so that they could complete the Blessing. This kit included two holy handkerchiefs and instruction s on how to complete the three-day ceremony. We did give a kit to at least one couple in our neighborhood.
Then, to finalize their Blessing, the couple was supposed to attend the Blessing ceremony at RFK stadium. But, if they did not, they could watch the video of the Blessing ceremony and Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s prayer at that Blessing ceremony, to seal and finalize their Blessing.
Blessed couples in good standing have been giving the Blessing since 1997, and they can and are continuing to do so now.
